Before and Afters

Finally, I have a couple of before and after pictures to show you of the new house! The upstairs is almost finished. The upstairs has two bedrooms...the girls' room and the boys' room. There is a landing between the rooms that we haven't painted yet. But the kids' rooms are finished enough to show you.

The Girls' Room before (there are extra adults in the room because I took this as we were actually getting ready to paint):

You can see the paint swatches on the wall. We let the Munchkin pick her color. I'm bummed I can't find (or didn't take) better before photos, but I've never been the best at capturing everything on camera. :)  (Not sure why she's looking grumpy in this picture. I'm guessing it was because her room was a disaster as we were getting ready to paint. She doesn't like a messy room.)

Here's the color she picked. She looks much happier in this picture.

And here's her room now. She shares with the Princess and the new little one. Praise the Lord for a big girls' bedroom and bunk beds. :)

And now onto the Handsome Man's room....Before....

We also let him pick his color. He knew he wanted blue, so it was just a matter of which blue he wanted. Here is his room now...

We've just started painting again since Ben hurt his knee. We took several months off so he could recuperate, but we're slowly getting back into it.  We still have a lot to go, but we are loving our little house!
