Getting ready and excited

We have another week of packing to go but we're making great progress. Of course, a small virus hit our house and a few of us are a little under the weather. But (thank you, dear Lord) Tylenol and Motrin are working, and the "throw up bowl" has not made an appearance. Amen.

We're excited about the new house. It does need a lot of work, but it has a lot of things that we were hoping for. God knew what we needed. Just check out some of the blessings He's giving us:

-a FLAT driveway!
-FLAT property
-no septic system
-no oil tank
-no retaining walls
-a great town with an adorable "downtown" section of shops and yummy restaurants
-easy access to NYC
-great schools (and someday the kid's can attend their Daddy's school)
-a house that we can "add-on" to
-bedrooms upstairs for the kids
-very close proximity to a mall (another Amen)
-a quiet neighborhood
-sidewalks

I know a lot of these things are small, simple things. And most are not at all necessary, but they are things we hoped for. Thank you, Lord.

Bethany--I'll try to post pics soon. I've been there twice this week and forgot my camera both times. Liz--We're doing okay with out him. It's a little quieter here but it's ok. Thanks for asking. :)
