Moving Day

We started packing in July. Eventually, most of our house looked like this...

And then they day finally came to say good-bye to our little blue house. The move went really well.  The Munchkin cried as we pulled away from the old house.  Change isn't usually easy. :(

The house was all loaded onto 2 trucks by lunchtime.  We drove 20-25 minutes to our new house, picking up lunch on the way.  And, here's our new home on moving day....

I should really take a more recent picture. The grass (weeds) have been cut, the bush on the left is trimmed and the flower beds are now weeded. :)  Can you believe how flat our property is? The kids ride their bikes almost everyday on the sidewalk in front of our house. They love that!

We're doing a lot of work on the inside and as we finish projects, I'll post before and after pictures.
